Description

  1. From half guard or similar position, hook your foot behind opponent's Achilles
  2. Extend your hips inward, creating an open wedge around their leg
  3. Flare your knee outward to prevent opponent from retracting their leg

Key Point: Balance between retraction and flaring to maintain control. Effective against opponents trying to stand up or escape.
